Founded by long-time Middleboro resident and public school educator Melissa Oddi-Morrison, The Heart In Art (THIA) is an all inclusive, creative environment - The Arts Accessible To Everyone – regardless of age, ability, physical or developmental challenges.
To provide access to the arts as a vehicle to EMPOWER all individuals, regardless of disabilities, background or age. To INSPIRE the love of humanity in these individuals. To create a CHANGE in the environment, building a community based in compassion and understanding through the arts.
“With an experienced teaching staff with expertise teaching individuals with disabilities, our goal is to provide a wide variety of arts and every day support tools that empower and inspire. By welcoming everyone, we hope to serve as a catalyst of understanding that drives a compassionate change in how we interact with and relate to each other.” Melissa Oddi-Morrision, The Heart In Arts Founder.
